Hangola

In what may be a short term venture until something else gets up and running, here is a Hangola page. It's been formatted in such a way as to make changes and additions simple, so that new information can be added easily. At present I do not have the time or inclination to do a lot of graphical work with it.

It is, so far, a simple compilation of posts to the chga list server. Non-list participants are invited to e-mail me directly with flight results and reports. It would be nice if computer connected folks would send in results for the non-linked. Anyone is welcome to phone in and leave flight results on my answering machine. Note: I will not personally be collecting or remembering individual pilot's results on a flying day. I'm not very good at it and it interferes with my enjoyment of the flying experience.

Though my own involvement in this project will be limited to the online version, it would be nice if this info could be made available to members who aren't computerized. One option is for someone to undertake editing it for publication in the newsletter. The club is already in need of a replacement for Christy as editor. Perhaps someone besides the new editor could take responsibility for the newletter version of Hangola. An alternate option would be for a volunteer to simply print it out from the web and bring it to the meetings for distribution.
