Well, Tom McGowan's trip to the SW is starting out slow.
He left a message saying the first day he only went 55 miles.
The second day he didn't quite break a hundred, with 99.9 miles.
The third day he went 100.4 miles, topped out at 17,000 MSL, but poor Tom had to carry his glider out of a "Texas sized" field. Don't we feel sad for him!
I hope things get better out there! Only 12 hours of air time and 255 miles in three whole days!
(He was so giddy that he didn't say how the others were doing.)
