Stopped by to check out the towing operation in Brownsville Pa. I got there a little late, seems it was a longer ride than I thought on the mountain bike sure wish I would have had Jim's recumbent instead. Jeff Shriner had just landed from an outstanding flight. After releasing at 400' he drifted down to 200' agl then hooked a good one and took it to 2300', pretty awesome save! I had missed all the towing but Brian was kind enough to demonstrate his powered paraglider, pretty impressive climb rate. They are using an old Hondamatic motorcycle, looks like maybe a 250 or 500? as the stationary winch system, looks interesting.

Doug.

note - it's a Hondamatic 400 -- Brian

Not a bad day at Brownsville, best flight was 35 minutes from a tow to 350' went down to 200' and found a thermal that got me to 2.3k.

Great day again Brian.

Thanks,

Jeff Shriner
