It was good. The elusive winter thermal was present. Remember thermals.
That is where you drive around in circles to go up. couldn't get very
high -- 1500 over and they all fell apart. Steve K
It was only 10 -15 on launch and low. But I think the 1500 ft ceiling was because of a shear. I think it was blowing pretty strong above 1500 over--- the drift increased and the thermals were blown apart.
I was wing tip to wing tip with a large hawk for awhile. It was all dark grey on top and mostly light grey underneath. Have any idea what it was?
