At the Rock yesterday at 1:30 hoping to catch a post frontal tandem flight in the projected 10-15 NW. When we arrived, it was a magical site: the valley barely visible as the cloud base dropped. Eventually, you could not see the end of the metal noseman platform from the end of the ramp.
It got cooler, the hair on everyones head stood-up and there was several flashes of what was likely cloud to cloud lightning. As the tingling subsided, a decision not to set up was made and home we went.
Anyone go out later?
