Nice day today. Warm and more or less straight in at 10 or so.. Maybe a
tad west. 1000 over in some surprisingly strong thermals. Scuz layer at
1,000 over. Where was everybody?
I noted from Emma Jane's book that I am the first person to fly the Rock since Nov. 12. She asked where we had been and I explained that there were a lot of strong NW forecasts which pushed folks to Woodstock. I assured her that if there were some nice moderate NW days we would be there. She wasn't complaining but I think she would have liked to have seen some of us on occasion. Not saying we should go to the Rock if it is supposed to blow 30 but if it is a question of boating around Woodstock or HR maybe we should start choosing HR again.
