A Word From The Prez.

Mid may and there's only a couple weeks left of the regionals. I haven't scored well, just can't seem to hit it, wrong site, wrong timing, airsickness or maybe not trying hard enough. We've also had another hook in failure. The pilot got distracted, unhooked to fix something, didn't hook in again and launched. Fortunately only minor injuries but leading edges aren't cheap. Don't let it happen to you, or anybody for that matter. The Memorial Day fly-in is real soon, May 23-25, call JR and let him know what food you're bringing. A work party is scheduled for May 30th, bring your tools. the road up to Zirks needs work Towing season is also just around the corner, I'm looking forward to some good flatland flying. The Williamsons have a new tug on order, it should be in sometime late May. Pinacles launch is open, the owner graciously graded it smooth for us and the grass is growing.
